Dear Lundevall Children,

It is my pleasure to offer you a special gift.  This Magical elf has been assigned to your family this year and hopefully many more to come.  She will visit from now until christmas day, to observe your behavior. She will explore your home from top to bottom, in order to make a proper report(be good).  Every evening she will transport back to the North Pole where I dwell in the Toy Shoppe.  Your elf will report her findings Naughty or Nice.  

I have learned from experience that whimsy is a part of these fantastical creatures.  Don't be surprised to find she is in a new place each morning.  

Enjoy each day and the pleasure of this magical season.  Remember all that you have been taught that will ensure success.
